The Seahawks are a professional football team that play in the NFL. They are a team that plays for Seattle so their actual name is the “Seattle Seahawks.” Let me go over some basics about football with you.(If you know how to play football you don’t have to read the next paragraph)

Football is America’s national sport. In football there is a quarterback who runs the ball, throws it to a wide receiver, a tight end, or a running back. The quarterback can also handoff the football to the running back. You have to score a touchdown by either throwing or running into the end zone. If you score a touchdown you get six points. You can either kick an extra point to make one point or go for a two point conversion. Now that you know what football is, we can go back to the Seahawks.

The Seahawks have a quarterback named Russel Wilson. Their running back for this season is Thomas Rawls. Their wide receivers are Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse, and Tyler Lockett. Their tight ends are Jimmy Graham and Luke Willson. They have something on their defense called the “Legion of Boom.” It is made up of four players, Richard Sherman, Kam Chancellor, Earl Thomas III, and Jeremy Lane. They are cornerbacks and safeties. The Seattle team is best known for their defense with all their great players on defense.
